South Carolina Deadly Rear-End Crashes

Dalzell, SC - Rose Gagne Dies in Two-Car Crash at US-521 & Charles Jackson Rd

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear-end collisions are the most commonly reported type of accident. Rear-end collisions account for nearly a third of all fatal two-vehicle collisions and nearly a quarter of all car accidents involving injuries. Around 2.5 million rear-end collisions are reported every year, resulting in thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries.

If a loved one was killed in a car accident, you should file a wrongful death claim. A number of complicated rules govern these claims, including who can file a claim and when a wrongful death claim in South Carolina is appropriate. When the at-fault party was the direct cause of the victim’s death, a wrongful death lawsuit is an option. A representative of the deceased should file a claim and attempt to prove the defendant’s negligence with the help of a Dalzell car accident lawyer.
