Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents on our roads in the state of Georgia. Georgia actually ranks 4th in the entire country when it comes to states with the most pedestrian-related fatalities. In 2020 alone, it was reported that approximately 273 pedestrians were killed in accidents throughout Georgia and many others were injured. Drivers are supposed to pay close attention to our roads at all times so that pedestrian accidents can be prevented. However, these accidents still tend to occur due to negligent drivers. If you have been seriously injured in a pedestrian accident caused by another party, you should speak with a legal advocate that you can trust.

Moving forward after a pedestrian accident is not always an easy thing to do. It is up to you as an injured party to show that another individual or several individuals are at fault for your accident. The injuries that stem from a pedestrian accident can be life-altering and include the following:

  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Organ damage
  • Broken bones

If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident, you could spend time in the hospital as you work on your recovery. On top of this, you may spend time away from work. Because of this, you should speak with a Dallas personal injury lawyer who has your best interests in mind.
