Dallas, GA – Serious Truck Accident with Injuries on GA-1 Near GA-120

Dallas, GA (June 16, 2022) – Around 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, June 15, a serious truck accident took place on a major roadway in Dallas.

According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened on GA-1 around the area of GA-120. Police confirmed that a 38-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Ford Edge and headed south on GA-1. She started to make a left turn at the intersection when her vehicle was struck by a 2019 tractor-trailer being driven by a 54-year-old male from Tennessee.

After the two vehicles collided, the Ford was struck by a GMC Yukon being operated by a 67-year-old male from Alabama. He was also traveling north at the time. All of the involved vehicles sustained severe damage as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The woman in the Edge was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital by medical helicopter. Nobody else was injured in the accident.

Due to the severity of the collision, several lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.

We offer our warmest thoughts of healing to the woman injured in this accident.
