Cumming, GA – Bad Dump Truck Crash at Bethelview Rd & Kelly Mill Rd 

Cumming, GA (June 6, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious dump truck accident that happened at an intersection in Cumming on Monday afternoon, June 6. 

According to officials, the accident happened around 2:43 p.m. A dump truck was traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time as a passenger vehicle. The dump truck slammed into the side of the passenger vehicle, which caused them to both sustained severe damages. The accident left debris scattered all over the road in the area. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties inside the passenger vehicle sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known. 

The roadway was blocked entirely in the area of the intersection until police were able to fully clear the scene. 

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
