Car Accidents in Georgia
Georgia has incredibly high rates of car accidents that cause injuries to hundreds of thousands of people each year. In just 2020 alone, the Georgia Department of Transportation estimated that over 331,000 car accidents took place in Georgia, with over 125,000 of them leading to injuries. Though car accidents can happen anywhere, highways are known for being some of the most common places for harm. This is due to the fact that drivers tend to travel at high speeds in these areas, which means that they are more likely to lose control and become involved in severe and damaging accidents.
