Cope, SC – Girl Killed Falling from Tractor at Moorer & Cope Rd
Cope, SC (July 4, 2022) – A young girl was killed and her brother hurt after falling off a tractor in rural Cope on Friday, July 1. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Moorer and Cope Roads at around 11:50 a.m.
Three people, including the victims, were reportedly riding a tractor. A 3-year-old girl and her brother reportedly fell from the vehicle. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.
The girl was later pronounced dead. Her identity has been withheld. No further updates have been provided.
Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the accident.
