Conyers, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near Hwy 138

Conyers, GA (December 4, 2022) – One or more people were injured due to a car accident on a highway in Conyers on Sunday, December 4.
According to Rockdale County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Exit 82 to Highway 138. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at about 9:00 p.m. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The right lane of traffic was blocked for an extended period of time following the crash. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
