Columbus, GA – Mary Adair Dies in Motorcycle Crash at Veterans Pkwy & Adams Farm Rd

Columbus, GA (March 6, 2022) – Authorities have identified Mary Adair as the woman who died following a motorcycle accident in Columbus on Friday evening, March 4.

According to the initial information released by officers with the Columbus Police Department, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at the corner of Veterans Parkway and Adams Farm Road. The CPD’s preliminary investigation revealed that a motorcycle and an SUV collided in the intersection around 7:00 p.m.

The motorcyclist, now identified as Mary Adair, suffered major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital by ambulance. Adair was declared deceased later that evening at Piedmont Emergency Room.

Police added that the circumstances surrounding the accident still remain unclear at this time, though an investigation into the crash is ongoing. It’s unknown if any other victims suffered injuries in the crash.
