Columbia, SC – Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Broad River Rd
Columbia, SC (September 13, 2022) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a motor vehicle in Columbia on Monday night, September 12. The deadly crash was reported on Broad River Road near Omarest Drive at around 8 p.m.
A male was traveling on foot near the scene when he was hit by an oncoming motorist. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased party has not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is being managed by local authorities.
