Deadly Moped Crashes in South Carolina
The United States is seeing an increase in the number of people using mopeds and scooters, which is why it is more necessary than it has ever been to investigate the level of safety provided by these vehicles. Accidents involving motorcycles and mopeds result in injuries of the same level of seriousness. When compared to those driving cars, motorcyclists have a death risk that is 27 times higher for every mile traveled.
Accidents between mopeds and larger vehicles, such as cars, occur often because mopeds have a maximum speed that cannot be exceeded. As compared to automobiles, mopeds do not offer the same level of protection. As a consequence, those involved in incidents involving mopeds usually have serious injuries, both the driver and any passengers.
