Failure to Yield Crashes in South Carolina

Columbia, SC - High School Student Hurt in Crash at Elmwood Ave & Main St

The chances of being involved in a car accident increase when traveling through an intersection. Traffic intersections have become significantly more dangerous over time, according to the most recent data. These collisions are among the most dangerous on the road, accounting for more than half of all serious injuries and a quarter of all fatalities. Failure to yield is involved in more than half of auto accidents nationwide.

Even the most cautious motorists run the risk of being involved in a serious accident. It is critical for accident victims to pursue the compensation they deserve after being wrongfully injured by a careless motorist. For the vast majority of South Carolinians, driving is their primary mode of transportation, and colliding with another vehicle is unavoidable in some circumstances. In the event of a collision, most drivers are unsure what to do. This is particularly true for those who do not have access to a Columbia personal injury lawyer.
