Columbia, SC – David Barker Dies in Two-Car Collision at SC-121 & Sulphur Springs Rd

Columbia, SC (June 6, 2022) – A car accident in the Columbia area left one person injured on Sunday night, June 5. The crash was reported at the intersection of SC-121 and Sulphur Springs Road at around 7:18 p.m. 

Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The injured party was later pronounced dead at the medical facility. 

The deceased party was later identified as David Barker of Lexington. No further information on the crash has been revealed. 

An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
