Truck Accidents in Georgia

Tractor-trailer accidents are not as common as accidents involving motor vehicles in Georgia. However, when they do take place, they are capable of causing extensive damage. Handfuls of truck-related collisions happen every single day in the state of Georgia. In just one year’s time in the U.S., it is estimated that over 110,000 people are seriously injured in truck accidents due to the negligence of others. Truck drivers are typically thought of as being some of the safest drivers on our roads. However, that is not always the case and mistakes still happen in the blink of an eye. If you have been hurt in a truck accident caused by another party, you should speak with an attorney that you can trust.

Every truck accident that takes place on our roads has the potential to be a devastating event. Even what seems like the most minor of all truck accidents can turn out to be incredibly severe later on down the road if you find out that your injuries are worse than what you initially expected. There could be many parties held liable in the event of a truck accident, including the following:

  • Trucking companies
  • Truck drivers who work under these companies
  • Manufacturers of truck parts
  • Cargo loaders
