College Park, GA – Rear-End Collision at Camp Creek Pkwy Intersection Leads to Injuries

College Park, GA (October 4, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles occurred at an intersection in College Park and led to injuries on Tuesday morning, October 4. 

According to the College Park Police Department, the accident happened around 6:05 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Creek Parkway and Herschel Road. Police confirmed that a vehicle was traveling through the intersection when it slammed into the back of a silver sedan that was almost entirely through the intersection. The silver sedan sustained immense rear-end damage. 

Investigators confirmed that at least one or more parties were hurt in the collision. EMS crews were present at the scene to assist those in need. The injured party was treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital for further treatment, though their condition is not yet known. 

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. 

College Park Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident.
