College Park, GA – Chain-Reaction Collision with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-285
College Park, GA (June 7, 2022) – A chain-reaction collision with injuries took place on a highway in College Park on Tuesday evening, June 7.
According to College Park officials, the accident happened around 5:32 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Old National Highway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
