Clemson, SC – Firefighter Hurt Putting Out Blaze on Manley Dr

Clemson, SC (January 19, 2022) – A firefighter was injured while at the scene of a fire in the Clemson area on Tuesday morning, January 18. The accident took place at a residence located on Manley Drive at around 4:30 a.m. 

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the fire early that morning. One firefighter sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The man reportedly suffered a broken collarbone, five fractured ribs, and a punctured lung. No updates on his condition have been revealed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
