Chattanooga Valley, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash Injures Several at GA-2 & GA-193

Chattanooga Valley, GA (September 3, 2022) – At 4:50 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, September 3, a two-vehicle collision happened in Chattanooga Valley.

According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-2 and GA-193. Two vehicles were headed through the intersection but one allegedly entered on a red light. The two vehicles collided head-on with each other, which led to extensive damages. The involved vehicles with front-end damages had to be towed away from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Chattanooga Valley responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several parties, who have not yet been identified, were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their current conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for some time. This led to delays in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the parties recovering from injuries caused by this collision.
