Charleston, SC – Several Drivers Collide in Crash on I-526 at Westmoreland Bridge
Charleston, SC (August 21, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in an automobile accident that occurred on Friday morning, August 19, in the Charleston area.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:05 a.m. on westbound Interstate 526 near the Westmoreland Bridge. The roadway was shut down for three hours with all lanes closed. Responding medics administered care and transported the wounded to area hospitals for further treatment.
