Charleston, SC (March 18, 2022) – A police pursuit in Charleston ended in a crash with injuries on Thursday morning, March 17. The accident was reportd at the intersection of Huger and Meeting Streets at around 2:30 a.m.
A deputy attempted a traffic stop, and the 13-year-old driver sped off. A chase ensued and ended when the motorist crashed into another vehicle. The other driver was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. The teenage motorist was cited for multiple offenses and taken into custody.
