Cartersville, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Main St Near Shopping Center

Cartersville, GA (June 1, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place on a roadway in Cartersville on Wednesday afternoon, June 1. 

According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened on Main Street right in front of the Cherokee Shopping Center. A sedan was pulling out and struck a minivan on the front passenger’s side. The two vehicles sustained heavy damages as a result of the accident and required towing from the scene. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Cartersville responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. It is believed that one or more victims required treatment at the scene and were then hospitalized. Their conditions are not known at this time. 

The roadway was quickly cleared so that heavy traffic could return to normal. 

Cartersville Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
