Burton, SC – Injuries Reported in Auto Wreck on Broad River Blvd near Jennings Rd

Burton, SC (December 23, 2022) – The Burton Fire Department reported that a motor vehicle collision took place on Sunday evening that resulted in injuries. The motor vehicle crash took place on December 19 at around 6:20 p.m.
According to reports provided by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s office, a traffic wreck took place on broad River Boulevard in the area of Jennings Road during the evening hours. The incident blocks multiple lanes at the intersection, causing severe disruptions in traffic patterns.
The Burton Fire Department, BCSO, and the Beaufort South Carolina EMS responded to provide assistance at the scene.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s office at this time.
