Speeding contributes significantly to road fatalities and injuries. The impact that speeding has on the driver, the car, and the road, is directly proportional to how it contributes to collisions. Excessive speeding increases vehicle stopping distance, lowers the efficacy of road safety mechanisms, and reduces a driver’s reaction time.
