Blown Tire Causes Fatal Accident
A fatal accident that occurred on Atlanta’s Interstate 75 has been blamed on a blown tire, according to a report on FOX Atlanta. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, which left the entire road closed for two hours and caused a fatality and multiple injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old male, was ejected from his vehicle after being rear-ended by a Jeep. He had stopped his vehicle due to the blown tire.
Following the injury, the man was transported to the hospital in a critical condition. He later died from his injuries.
Two other passengers in the vehicle survived with serious injuries and were also transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the Jeep sustained serious injuries, as well, and is now recovering. According to the report, no charges have been filed.
One Killed and Five Injured in Crash
A woman was killed and five people were injured in a horrifying crash that took place in Georgia. The accident occurred in morning rush-hour traffic and caused major disruptions while officials investigated its cause.
A preliminary investigation into the incident suggests that the driver of a Volvo turned directly into the path of an oncoming Ford, resulting in a high-speed, side-on collision. The driver of the Volvo, a 43-year-old woman, was declared dead on the scene, while four children who were inside the same vehicle were transported to the hospital with serious yet non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford also suffered non-life threatening injuries but was transported to a nearby hospital for observation and treatment. If you have been involved in an accident that has left you with serious injuries, then a personal-injury lawyer might be able to assist.
