Pedestrian in Metro-Atlanta Dies in Hit and Run

The 36-year-old was hit by a driver who left the scene of the incident, the report said. This tragic accident is a reminder to pedestrians and drivers alike that road and traffic safety is incredibly important.
A federal report shows that more than 4,000 people died in pedestrian accidents in 2009 and that nearly 60,000 were hurt in traffic incidents. As populations continue to grow, it’s likely that the number of these incidents will also increase.
