Anyone who is walking on or near a road has the potential to be involved in a pedestrian accident. However, some people are more vulnerable to danger than others, and some locations present a greater risk when walking. Drivers should be held responsible for their actions if they don’t share the road with pedestrians.
In our car-centered culture, many drivers simply do not see or pay attention to pedestrians. Many drivers either choose to completely ignore the rules of the road or are unaware of the local laws requiring them to yield to pedestrians crossing the street. A pedestrian may sustain serious or even fatal injuries in a collision.
Many pedestrian accidents are reported across the state each year, according to the most recent accident data. You might need legal counsel to ensure you receive fair compensation. The legal team at Monge & Associates is committed to ensuring that you receive the justice you deserve because we believe that those who have been hurt in auto accidents have a right to a full recovery.
