Augusta, GA (January 12, 2023) – Around 5:46 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, January 11, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Augusta.

According to Augusta Police Department officials, the accident happened on Mike Padgett Highway around the area of Alden Drive. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they were involved in a collision with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.
