Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Wreck Reported at I-85 N & GA-400 N

Atlanta, GA (January 1, 2023) – The Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta fire department, and emergency medical services were called to a crash that took place in the Lindridge-Martin Manor neighborhood that ended in injuries. On Sunday, December 31, calls for help were received regarding a traffic crash on Interstate 85.

At approximately 10 p.m., a traffic incident blocked the northbound side of Interstate 85. The incident caused severe delays near Georgia State Route 400 northbound.

The police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and begin working to clear the roadway. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, both suffering damage due to the collision. The vehicles were towed from the scene.

Medics cared for the injured victims while on-site before transporting them to local medical facilities for further treatment.

The incident remains under investigation by the Atlanta Police Department at this time.
