Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision with Injuries in NB Lanes of I-285

Atlanta, GA (November 9, 2022) – One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of a tractor-trailer accident in Atlanta on Wednesday, November 9. 

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened around 9:43 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A tractor-trailer was driving in the area when it allegedly collided with one or more passenger vehicles due to unknown reasons. The passenger vehicles sustained harm in the accident. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Atlanta responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties inside the passenger vehicles sustained injuries in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions are not yet known. 

The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays. 

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
