Atlanta, GA – Three People Injured in Construction Accident on Stratford Dr 

Atlanta, GA (March 28, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious construction accident that took place in Atlanta on Saturday morning, March 26. 

According to local officials, the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. at 97 Stratford Drive. Fire rescue officials were called to the scene, where they found that a wall had collapsed at a construction site. Three individuals were trapped as a result of the collapse and had to be extricated from under the rubble. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. All three of the injured workers were rushed to Grady Hospital with unknown injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time. 

The area was closed down for an extended period of time as fire crews and police worked to clear the scene. 

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues. Police will update with more information as it becomes available.
