Atlanta, GA – Several Hurt in Vehicle Wreck on I-285 at Ponce & I-85
Atlanta, GA (July 11, 2022) – Authorities at the scene stated that a significant rear-end accident that happened on a busy Atlanta road on July 11 in the afternoon injured multiple persons.
According to the authorities, the collision occurred just before the East Ponce and I-85 exit on I-285 southbound at roughly 5:10 p.m. The best available evidence indicates that a car rear-ended another while traveling in the center and right lanes. Most routes were shut down for more than an hour as a result of the incident. Since both automobiles were extensively damaged, they had to be taken away from the scene.
To help the wounded, Atlanta fire rescue teams and ambulance personnel were sent to the scene. The accident victims have been sent to local hospitals even though it is unclear how seriously hurt they were.
The accident’s inquiry is still underway.
We wish everyone affected in this collision a fast recovery and express our condolences to their loved ones and families at this present time.
Atlanta Auto Rear-End Collisions
The most prevalent kind of auto accident, rear-end collisions, has left a number of victims and injured people in Georgia and around the country. Rear-end collisions, sometimes known as “fender benders,” made up more than half of all car accidents in the state of Georgia in a single calendar year.
Even when they happen at low speeds, these crashes have the potential to cause more serious injuries than the vast majority, which often just result in minor bumps and bruises. Among the potentially deadly illnesses that accident victims may experience are whiplash, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and shattered bones.
The year prior, around 8% or more of all fatalities were caused by rear-end collisions. The sooner you take action to preserve your legal rights after an accident, the better, regardless of the severity of your injuries or the nature of the incident.
It may be difficult to get used to your new physical restrictions after a personal accident. Even if you don’t wind up in the hospital, medical bills and lost wages might cause financial difficulty. When someone else’s carelessness causes an accident, it may be difficult to deal with the emotional consequences, especially if the tragedy was their fault.
The insurance company does not take into consideration your health or well-being while making judgments or awarding reimbursement for your injury. After an automobile accident in which you or a member of your family was injured, you should call an Atlanta car accident lawyer immediately.
Since the ramifications of a vehicle accident may last for weeks, months, or even years, you should consult with an experienced legal team in Georgia as soon as you can after the incident.
