Atlanta, GA – Serious Vehicle Accident, Injuries on I-20 at Lowery Blvd
Atlanta, GA (July 14, 2022) – On the evening of July 14, many automobiles crashed on Atlanta’s I-20, resulting in severe injuries.
The Atlanta Police Department (APD) reports that the incident happened at around 11:15 p.m., shortly before the Lowery Boulevard exit. At the time of the collision, three cars were presumably merging from the right shoulder into the lane. In a rear-end collision involving a tractor-trailer, both cars sustained substantial damage.
First responders included firemen and emergency medical personnel. At least one individual was hurt as a result of the incident.
The right lanes and exit ramp closure for over an hour caused significant local traffic delays. While the event’s cause is still being investigated, no new information has been revealed.
We offer our sympathies and hopes for a swift recovery to all those affected by this tragedy.

These events caused 125,000 injuries and well over 1,000 deaths, largely due to the many dangers on our roads and the careless behavior of all-too-many motorists, such as texting while driving, drunk driving, and other problems.
