Atlanta, GA – Rear-End Collision with Injuries on I-75 Near 14th St 

Atlanta, GA (May 29, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious rear-end collision that took place on a highway in Atlanta on Sunday morning, May 29. 

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of 14th Street. Photographs taken at the scene showed that a black van was traveling in the area when it forcefully collided with the rear of another vehicle for reasons that are not yet known. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and left debris all over the road.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time. 

A middle lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
