Atlanta, GA – Multiple Drivers Collide in Vehicle Wreck on I-75 at Paces Ferry

Atlanta, GA (September 20, 2022) – On the evening of September 20, Tuesday, a significant rear-end accident happened on a major route in the Atlanta region.

On southbound I-75, just before the Paces Ferry entrance, an accident occurred involving two autos and another vehicle. A box truck, the other vehicle, caught fire. According to preliminary accounts, two automobiles crashed in the center and right lanes of the road.

The collision forced the closure of the highway for an hour. Both cars were removed from the premises due to their considerable damage.

Atlanta’s fire departments and EMTs hurried to the scene to assist the wounded, however, their present situations were not disclosed.

The inquiry into today’s accident is still underway.

Our thoughts go out to the injured victims, and we hope for their full recovery.

Atlanta-area Rear-End Collisions

Rear-end crashes remain the most common form of accident in Georgia and the rest of the nation, accounting for a growing number of deaths and injuries each year. According to state data, rear-end collisions, sometimes known as “fender benders,” account for more than half of all automobile accidents in Georgia.

Even if the event happens at a slower rate, it may still result in catastrophic physical damage or death. All of these, in addition to fractured bones and spinal cord damage, are potentially fatal results for those involved in accidents.

In the previous year, rear-end crashes accounted for at least 9% of all traffic deaths. No matter how serious your injuries are or what caused the accident, you must move quickly to safeguard your legal rights.

Physical limits that result from an injury may be difficult to adapt to at first. Regardless of the severity of your injuries, you may face financial difficulties as a result of unpaid medical expenses and missed pay if you are unable to work. And the mental and emotional ramifications of being in a vehicle accident caused by another driver’s negligence may be devastating, to say the least.
