Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Rollover Crash on I-75 Near Courtland St 

Atlanta, GA (May 4, 2022) – One or more parties suffered injuries in a rollover crash that took place on an Atlanta highway on Wednesday morning, May 4. 

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened around 6:37 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 249, Courtland Street. An early investigation revealed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes when they collided due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles, identified as a dark-colored sedan, rolled over completely onto its side. 

Officers, paramedics, and Atlanta Fire crews, responded to the scene immediately. One or more victims were inside the rolled vehicle. The unidentified parties were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time. 

The right lane was completely blocked due to the severity of the crash. This led to delays in the early morning rush hour. 

Atlanta officials continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision.
