Atlanta, GA (March 31, 2022) – Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon, March 30.
According to DeKalb Police, the accident happened in the afternoon hours in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of I-20. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when one or more lost control due to unknown reasons. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another, sustaining severe damage.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Five people were injured as a result of the accident. All of the parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
