Aiken, SC – Holly Worley Charged in Deadly Hit-&-Run on Richland Ave
Aiken, SC (August 3, 2022) – A Graniteville woman has been charged in connection with a fatal pedestrian crash in Aiken on Sunday evening, July 31. The crash was reported at the 3800 block of Richland Avenue at around 9:45 p.m.
A local convenience store clerk alerted authorities to a hit-and-run after hereby screams nearby. Authorities later found a 2006 Saturn Ion at a Food Lion grocery store. The car had a broken windshield and was missing a side mirror.
The owner of the vehicle, 31-year-old Holly Worley, was later found by authorities. She was charged with leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is underway.
